Empowering the local church in Pakistan to be a beacon of hope, providing education and social support in the heart of disadvantaged communities.
We support a network of churches based in Pakistan – a nation of 243 million people. Since 2020, we have fostered a strong relationship with this vibrant church, witnessing their remarkable growth and impact. We've already provided COVID-19 relief, vehicle purchase, and flood relief. Our recent visits have helped us to assess needs and offer targeted assistance, including gifts for children, travel support for leadership development, and funding for security and office construction.
Going forwards our focus is on “Integral Mission” - overcoming poverty holistically and from within, empowering local Church leaders to drive sustainable change as people realise their potential and recognise the resources God has given them. To this end we are supporting a project to provide educational opportunities for children in one of the poorest areas of this city.

Since 2020, we have fostered a strong relationship with this vibrant church and its energetic youth (median age: 20.8), witnessing remarkable growth despite being a minority in a nation that is 96.3% Muslim, 2.1% Hindu, and 1.4%–1.8% Christian.
Our work is centred in Rawalpindi, a historic city of over 2 million people. Known as the "Twin City" to the capital, Islamabad, Rawalpindi is a strategic hub and the nation's military headquarters. It is a city of sharp contrast, where ancient bazaars meet rapid urban growth, serving as a critical gateway for our mission to reach the most marginalised communities.
Building on our history of vital infrastructure support, BREADtrust is now working to break the cycle of poverty in Rawalpindi through education. We are currently raising funds to build a school in one of the city's poorest districts, empowering local leaders to provide children with a sustainable path out of poverty.
